Pre-inked Round Notary Stamps are similar to self-inking stamps in that an ink pad is not required. Pre-inked stamps have the ink manufactured directly into the printing die itself. This die is made of a state-of-the-art material that has tiny micro-porous cells which retain the ink and only release the right amount when gently pushed down to transfer a clean, crisp impression. These stamps are generally good for 25,000 or more impressions before re-inking is required. They come with a protective cover that should be replaced after use to maintain the printing die.
